3.5 stars for a decent toy November 2, 2011
By Cassie
Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Durability: Educational: Fun:
I think this is a decent product for the price. It is bright and colorful and fun to mess with. I was concerned about what other reviews said about its durability so when it arrived in the mail I literally tried to pull it apart(and no I'm not weak in the arms) but nothing even came loose. I also dropped it face-down twice on the garage floor by accident and fully expected it to break both times but it held up. Before I felt comfortable leaving it with a child I tested its strength once more and it was fine. One thing about the product is that the blocks spin very easily so younger children may lose interest and just swing them around until they get bored. Also, when it arrived in the mail there was an edge that had lost not only part of its paint but also part of the wood. There was a small piece of splintered wood sticking out that could have easily given me or a child a bad splinter. So it seems that this company may have a few problems with quality control but if you get one that isn't defective, it's a decent toy for the price. I wouldn't leave it around smaller children.

Lasted 15 minutes. November 14, 2011

Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Durability: Educational: Fun:
I chose this toy from the Vine Program for my 3 year old nephew to play with when he visits me. I have no children myself and wanted something for him to keep entertained. This was not it. He isn't a little boy who breaks things and in fact is very good with his toys and books. In the first 5 minutes the base and sides came off and the blocks came loose. We tried to repair it and then decided just to put it back in the box it came in.I gave him a tablet of paper and a pencil. He was quite happy.

Nothing to Pick Up January 10, 2012

Amazon Verified Purchase
Durability: Educational: Fun:
I bought this toy because I needed an inexpensive toy and when I saw this the first thought in my head was "hey- no pieces to pick up" so I bought it. And yes, the no pieces to pick up is amazing. Doesn't seem to keep 18month olds interest as much as other toys (ones with pieces and one of those cube things) but at the same time he can't seem to walk by it without twirling one of the blocks. Worth it for the money, and for the "no pieces to pick up" value. But more of a toy that you need to engage your child in rather than one that will entertain him without your interaction. Very educational. I would recommend this.

An educational toy, but stay with your child as they learn from it
I have to agree with others, that this toy appears cheaply built. I won't personally let my little girl play with this toy alone. Read more
