My 2 year old loves to stack these, line them up, and "sort" them all at the same time. They're colorful, and look to be decent quality. There are letters, numbers, and even math signs. So, this will be a great tool for teaching adding, subtracting, spelling, as she grows. At this age, it's mostly useful if you have a toddler who likes to sort and stack. The different pictures and colors are also great tools for teaching at this age, other than letters and numbers. I looked at the Walmart blocks, and opted for these, as the paint on the Walmart ones looked like it was unfinished/flaking off even still in the box. The paint on these seems better, though my little one is mostly past the stage of chewing on toys now. The box is great for storage, and helps give your little on a place to "help" put her toys away.

I bought these so I can start teaching my 3 year old grandson letters and numbers in a fun way. They're small, but well made and cute. Another benefit is they come in a nice little box and don't take up much storage space.

I bought these blocks for my niece. She seems to enjoy them being just shy of 2 years. But the blocks are very small about 1 square inch. They look small even in her hands. Each block has two different engraved letters/numbers and then some random pictures, numbers or letters on the rest of the sides.Blocks would be awesome if they were just a bit larger.
